French bread – Sliced

Fresh Mozzarella – Sliced

Ham – Sliced

Marinated Artichoke Hearts – Chopped

Roasted Red Peppers – Drained

Garlic-Rosemary Butter

Butter one side of two pieces of French bread.  Place once slice butter side down in hot cast iron pan or griddle.  Place sliced mozzarella, ham, marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, then another layer of ham and mozzarella on bread, top with second piece of buttered French bread butter side up.  Cook until nicely toasted.  Carefully turn sandwich over and place a second cast iron (or heavy pan) on top of sandwich to “press”.  Cook until nicely toasted.  Slice sandwich in half for ease of eating.

I like to serve this sandwich with Roasted Red Pepper Soup!
