Tri-Tip Marinade

This came to me from a friend.  P, you know who you are…

In a large plastic bag  combine:

1/2 C soy sauce

2 T seedless currant jelly (I use seeded blackberry)

1/2 C fresh lime juice

1/2 C bourbon whiskey

1 T crushed red pepper flakes

2 T grated/minced fresh ginger

Mix well then add your tri-tip and let sit in refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
